Miami-Dade, FL - Florida has four new cases of people likely infected with Zika through mosquito bites in Miami, Governor Rick Scott said on August 9, as he urged Congress to reconvene and approve additional money to combat the virus.
The additional cases are all in a one-square mile area in Miami-Dade County that includes Miami's Wynwood district, Scott said, bringing the total of locally transmitted cases in the state to 21.
On July 4, 2016 Montclair Ambulance Unit debuted our EMS Bike Team during the annual Montclair July 4th Celebration.
The founding members of the Team include Deputy Chief Frank Carlo, Special Operations Coordinator Sean Coffey, EMT Mary Berghoefer (who organized the debut) and EMT Jason Batruk.
The EMS Bike Team will be part of the Special Operations Group and assist at large events in and around Montclair when requested.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 13 from Noon to 9 PM at Nishuane Park in Montclair. The event is held rain or shine and tickets are not needed.
