Frozen in Time.....

In 2013 Montclair Ambulance Unit celebrated out sixtieth anniversary at the Rescuer's Gala.

Over 150 current and former staff members, Board members, elected officials and supporters gathered at The Grove in Cedar Grove to honor the six decades of service that MAU has provided to the Community.

Also at the event, retired Administrator, Michelle Carlo, was honored for years of service and leading MAU through some very difficult years.

Pictured above is MAU President Jonathan Hirsh and Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-NJ-11).

Congressman Frelinghuysen presented MAU with a United States Flag that was flown over the Capital and a copy of the Congressman's floor speech recognizing MAU at the anniversary. - As winds increase from a strengthening nor’easter, blizzard conditions will bring dangerous travel over the interior Northeast, while a wintry mix, rain and flooding continue to advance northward along the coast through Tuesday.
The storm has forced a State of Emergency to declared in multiple states.
Blizzard conditions with heavy snow, very low visibility and drifting snow will clog streets and highways from parts of central and eastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New jersey to much of Maine and New Brunswick.

Trenton, NJ - Gov. Chris Christie has declared a state of emergency in anticipation of a blizzard forecasters say could blanket the northern and central parts of the state with at least a foot of snow by Tuesday night.
Christie also closed state offices Tuesday, ordering all "non-essential" employees who are not involved in the response to the storm to stay home.
The governor's declaration made Monday afternoon at 5 p.m., means people should stay off the roads so they do not interfere with law enforcement and emergency responders.
