Our mission is to provide professional, responsive, patient-first care and dedication to being a community based, industry leading, emergency medical service organization.
In 2013 Montclair Ambulance Unit celebrated out sixtieth anniversary at the Rescuer's Gala.
Over 150 current and former staff members, Board members, elected officials and supporters gathered at The Grove in Cedar Grove to honor the six decades of service that MAU has provided to the Community.
Also at the event, retired Administrator, Michelle Carlo, was honored for years of service and leading MAU through some very difficult years.

Congressman Frelinghuysen presented MAU with a United States Flag that was flown over the Capital and a copy of the Congressman's floor speech recognizing MAU at the anniversary.

Montclair, NJ - For the sixth year, Montclair Ambulance Unit will be participating in the annual EMS on the Hill Day in Washington, D.C. The yearly event is a day of advocacy for EMS providers and stakeholders to meet with elected officials on Capital Hill to lobby for the needs of EMS and our patients.
EMS on the Hill is organized by the National Association of EMTs and brings in EMS advocates from a majority of the United States.
"I'm proud to represent EMS in New Jersey." said Deputy Chief Frank Carlo who is a senior member of the New Jersey delegation. "We always have great representation in D.C. with strong providers and industry leaders. It's an honor represent the close to 30,000 EMTs and Medics that work and volunteer in the Garden State."
